Jordan Paxston

15Adidas Assistant Coach

This will be Jordan’s fifth year coaching at Platform Elite and she is very excited for the club season to begin again.  Jordan grew up in Bettendorf, playing volleyball whenever she could; typically making one of her three sisters “pepper” with her.  In high school, Jordan was a three-sport varsity athlete at Pleasant Valley High School.  Since her sophomore year, Jordan received all-conference volleyball honors on varsity.  During her senior year (2008), Jordan helped lead the team to state for the first time since 1977.  She also played tennis during her years at PV and won a MAC doubles championship title.  Jordan continued her volleyball career at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, but later transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University, where she graduated with her degree in Elementary Education.

Since she first fell in love with the sport in 6th grade, Jordan never goes long without touching a volleyball.  She has either been coaching or playing in local leagues and tournaments.  Jordan has been the sophomore volleyball coach at Davenport Central High School since 2014.  Jordan coached the freshman volleyball team at her high school alma mater, PV, with a record of 26-3 in 2013.

Currently, Jordan is a 4th teacher at Garfield Elementary in Davenport.  She and her husband Jeremy and reside in Davenport and have two fur-babies, Strider and Pippin.
